In 4.0 Blizzard is putting much greater emphasis on 10 man content with shared loot tables and shared lock-outs effectivley meaning you don't need to run 25's to be serious about raiding. Many of us have been playing for a good while now and want to progress further and more quickly than we have been, while better balancing the game around our lives (clearning content sooner after its released than we currently do, then slowing down until the next patch).

The result of this is Twilight is going to halt 25 man raiding with immediate effect and begin scaling down it's membership to become a single 10 man only guild in preperation for Cataclysm. We have decided to implement this decision now to give those that will need to find a new home ample time to do so before the expected drop of the new patch in November.

If this news is a surprise, but you firmly believe that 'New Twilight' is where you belong then please catch an officer in game. We all have many friends in this guild and we know this news will be unwelcome to a lot of you, but the team which ogranises your raids needs to do something different if they are to continue to enjoy the game.

We'll all be online and available on vent at regular raid times for the rest of the week to answer any questions that you may have about these changes, but please keep an open mind and remember that a lot of effort is demanded from guild leaders and we don't exist only to serve your gaming needs - they try to play for fun too.
