  • HowTo: Check EP, GP and PR Standings  |  Saturday, July 4, 2009 - 11:24 AM
This guide introduces players to the EPGP in game add-on and explains how you can check current EPGP indexes, including your loot priority.

About
Before any of this functionality is available in game you must first install the EPGP Add-on. Once it's installed a very simple in game, up to the minute (because data is stored in the guild officer notes) table can be used to check current standings.

Opening The Table
EPGP doesn't add a button anywhere once it's installed and needs to be started using the command /epgp as follows;

If you have an add-on such as Lunasphere you can create a macro and assign it to a button to make things a little easier for yourself.

Using The Table
Once the table has been opened it looks like this;

The Show Everyone button is only present if you are in a raid (if you aren't in a raid it will show everyone in the guild without the ability to filter). With it ticked those that are in a raid with you will have a yellow check mark next to their name. If you hover your mouse over a player in the table a list of their alts names will also be displayed.

Making Sense of It All
You can click the EP, GP and PR columns to sort the table by Effort Points, Gear Points and loot priority accordingly. Each of these numbers holds some useful data;

- EP defines the total amount of effort  which a member has contributed to the guild, minus the decay and any penalties they may have received
- GP defines the total amount of gear/loot which a member has received back from the guild
- PR defines the current loot priority of everyone in the guild, members with a higher number/priority are in line to get loot next so this is a useful default sort order, especially while in raids
