  • Core Raider rank  |  Saturday, March 6, 2010 - 10:21 AM

General

The raiding core of the guild. Core raiders are the first ones who get invited to raids. They will also have a vote who gets promoted to this rank.

Along with the Good Member Guide all Core raiders are expected to maintain the qualifications seen below:

Core Raiders perks: Always invited first to raids. They can repair for 200G from Guild Bank during Raidtimes. 3 Free flasks per raidnight they attend (100% attendance required)

  • Core Raiders must keep their attendance at 75% or above (3/4 raids per reset). This will be reviewed after everyother week.
  • If your attendance drops below the 75% requirement, you have 1 week to get it back above 75%. If it is not back above 75% by the next Wednsday you will be demoted to Raider
  • Failing to post an AFK or failing to sign up on the calendar on a regular basis. Not signing up shows a lack of commitment which will lessen chances for a promotion.
  • Frequently dying to controllable variables in an encounter - if you continually die due to an encounter mechanic that can be avoided - void zones, lava waves, gravity bombs - or kill other people by that same lack of attention you won't be considered reliable enough, thus lessening chances for a promotion
  • If your DPS/damage during boss encounters is below the tank's DPS or it looks like it's too low for the encounter and it becomes a consistent problem, you won't be considered reliable for demanding boss fight.
  • If your healing is consistently below other people with your spec and function you won't be considered eligible for progression nights, thus not eligible for Core raider rank
  • Frequent afks, taking afks without proper notification, missing ready checks because of not paying attention, needing reminding of food/flask buffs, or if you cheap out on food buff (not using the best available for your role), you can be considered as not being fully prepared which lessens chances for a promotion
  • Core Raider promotions or demotions will be done Wednesday nights before the raid every week if there's someone in the list, not before and not after, whether the person is online or not. The Officers will do them.
  • Core raider will have a vote in who get's promoted to this rank. They should base their vote on the qualifactions required to become a Core raider. Should they try to influence the others with smooth/bad talk or trying to get their friends promoted when not deserved it can lead to demotion to raider rank.
